Chuck Berry with Special Guest Renaissance (a capella doo-wop)
|
| August 29, 2009 | 7:00pm |
The “Father of Rock and Roll,” Chuck Berry brings classic rock to the stage on Aug. 29. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Berry isn’t one for resting on laurels. He’s a legend – and not just for that duck-walking signature move. Credited for bridging racial divides with music, Berry’s hits “Maybellene,” Johnny B. Goode” and “Memphis” still bring audiences of all backgrounds and ages together.
