In honor of St. Paddy’s Day (a wee bit early), three lads credited with breaking the traditional, stuffy tenor mold, raise their voices in glorious song. Known for bucking the stuffy reputation of conventional tenor groups, The Celtic Tenors perform a crowd-pleasing blend of tunes, from classical and folk to Celtic and pop.
Topping the charts in the U.S. and Europe, Mathew Gilsenan, James Nelson and Daryl Simpson have mastered the art of classical crossover, singing everything from Bob Dylan and Josh Groban to "Danny Boy" and "Shenandoah." Showing the music respect without taking themselves too seriously, the three tenors put on a powerful, "high octane" (Ulster Herald) show.
